Our Motivation
In 2013 we established our company, UrPhoneGuy LLC (UPG), during a recession in a booming Mobile Economy with the realization that there was a need. A need to pull small businesses together and reconnect more with not only one another but with the clients we serve, we believe Mobile Business Applications will take us there. Our teams goal is to show you just how we can make this happen, while building relationships to last a lifetime. In 2016 we rebranded to the Applified Marketing Group to better leverage our core values and capabilities. We are the Applified Marketing Group.

Oregon native Josh Millar moved to San Diego to pursue his degree in Integrated Marketing and Communications where he earned his degree at San Diego State University and graduated in 2009. Josh had the unique privilege of working with the Vice President of Marketing and Advertising for Honda as a member of his graduating class to help build a complete Integrated Marketing and Communications Plan for the Honda Crosstour which was at the time a concept car. The experience Josh drew from this campaign fueled him to want to build similar marketing plans for businesses both large and small. With over 10 years of mobile experience combined with his background in Marketing, Josh started UrPhoneGuy to fill the need for a knowledgeable Mobile Application Company.

Commercial Photographer and Graphic Designer Ted Roberts, a native of Oregon , grew up in New York, California and New Orleans, where he has practiced and mastered his craft for the past 20 years. As a student from The University of Oregon and The University Of Southern Louisiana He began his training as one of the most sought out graphic artists in the industry. The knowledge he has gained as well as the experience he brings is an asset in the mobile app industry. A blend of creative vision, style, and bold imagery are words often used to describe Ted Roberts’ body of work. Rolling Stone, as well as several other publications and websites are a host of his past clients.
Jessie Phillips

Graphic Designer Jessie (Millar) Phillips, originally from California, ventured to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan to earn a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Graphic Design from Finlandia University. Passion is an excellent word to describe her emotion towards the field.
Jessie's capabilities are not limited to just graphics as she is capable of print, advertising, branding, and web design, plus all that that encompasses. Jessie is pretty much up for anything. Her creativity and inspiration come from just about everything. As a designer her mind is constantly attuned to the small things in life that the average person does not see or hear. Inspiration could come from packaging while picking up groceries at the store or from a little bird that was chirping as she walks the dog. It is never certain where it will come from, but it always seems to come.

Darlene is a creative visionary with a great mind for business. She is uniquely left and right brain balanced which allows her to be extremely detail oriented without missing the big picture.
